PRAGUE NEWS 2011

2011 has been one of the busiest periods in the history of  the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra… this despite the still shaky economic situation around the world. However Film Scoring is certainly down on previous years…for the most part probably due to the ever increasing use of samples rather than live musicians and the general slashing of music budgets for movies … but fortunately the record industry still sees the merits of using a “real” orchestra and all the merits that brings to any album.

So, pride of place goes to the various Classical / Crossover CDs recorded in Prague in the past few months….all the the Orchestra contracting and music supervision being handled Josef Pokluda and James Fitzpatrick of Tadlow Music at the newly refurbished Smecky Music Studios
